Dance of the Planets - Assignment

Between August 26 and September 12 look in the west between 8:30 and 9:00 PM for Venus and Jupiter. Both will appear as bright stars with Venus the brighter. Their postions will change from day to day and they are close enough that the motion will be apparent from one night to the next. The formation is especially nice the evening of September 6 when the crescent Moon appears close to the planets. Take a look and make blog entries of your observations.
